Finds Reports
I offer fast and competitively priced assessment and analysis reports on artefacts and coins. All reports comply with CIfA standards on specialist reporting.
Research and Teaching
I have undertaken a range of research projects to date, including carrying out research on behalf of the Government to advise on potential changes to the Treasure Act.
Community Archaeology
Whether it is help with designing or delivering community archaeology projects, I can offer affordable and creative solutions. Projects to date include wellbeing excavations with RAF families, and education sessions with local archaeology groups.

Adam Daubney PhD FSA
About
Adam Daubney is an archaeological small finds specialist based near Lincoln, UK.
He has over 25 years experience in finds research, having identified and recorded over 25,000 finds for the Portable Antiquities Scheme, and produced CIfA-standard reports for a wide variety of commercial clients. He has also undertaken research projects for Historic England, DCMS, and various other Local Authorities.
Adam is the author of two books and over 20 peer-reviewed articles, most of which focus on coins, plough-zone archaeology, and the public discovery of material culture.
He is a keen amateur potter and is a big advocate of the Portable Antiquities Scheme where he volunteers his time helping to improve records of pottery and other ceramic objects.
